Natalise (Vanessa)

Natalise's incredible journey as an emerging artist has taken a myriad of twists and turns, appearing and re-appearing in an unpredictable cascade of artistic and musical expressions, immersed in shadowy international intrigue, standing atop those I'm-going-to-eat-you-alive stilletto heels. A remarkable young woman whose destiny was shaped while honing her songwriting and performance talents in back alley tenement apartments, subways and couture salons of Singapore, Madrid, Hoboken and Budapest.

It would be a simple matter to take the well traveled "artist bio" route ...with the usual attempts to enthrall with the usual artist biography descriptions...."Started piano lessons at age 3", "Sang in the Church choir", "Studied Opera at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music", "Started performing at 12, writing songs at age 13", "High School Valedictorian", "Graduated With High Honors from Stanford University"....even pointing out that at the ripe age of 19, Natalise owned and operated her own successful independent record label and had a hit song played on San Francisco's Wild 94.9.

It could also be pointed out that you've seen Natalise on MTV, The WB, in prime time features on ABC, CBS and NBC...not to mention the pages of Maxim, Blender and The New York Times. (Betcha that's the first time you've seen Maxim and the NY Times in the same sentence, eh?).

But what would be the point of mentioning all of that? Are we truly focused on the facts? The accomplishments?

You are compelled to ask yourself, what's the REAL point of the story? Is it Natalise's sudden departure from Beijing, cruising under and through the Homeland Security nets, exploiting lax security at the port of East St. Louis, Missouri? Is it the fact that young Natalise entered America for the first time tightly packed in a Gibson Les Paul guitar case? That the length of this trip and limited confines of the Les Paul container (complete with guitar and pedal effects board) resulted in temporary disfigurement and paralysis? Is the real story...her miraculous recovery at the hands of a covert Beverly Hills "medical consultant" utilizing a combination of lead pencil acupuncture and selective Taser applications?

Are you buying ANY of this?

Or, whether or not you buy it, is that the REAL point? OR, is it necessary to take the easy road and talk about Natalise's favorite food, TV shows and musical influences? Is that what you REALLY want? (Answers: Sushi - raw and cold [just how she likes it], Nip/Tuck [because its just so deranged, twisted, and sexy], and Prince-Blondie-Madonna-Queen-Mothers of Invention)

There, happy now?

The real point IS the outcome. Stunning to say the least. Natalise. Singer, Songwriter, Performer Extraordinaire, Ingénue, Part-Time Nanny to Brad & Angelina, Stanford Honors Grad, 7th Degree Martial Yoga champion, told Simon Cowell to f**k off, thinks Rudy Gulianni is kinda cute in a B&D sort of way.....

....and is thoroughly convinced that anyone and everyone in radio broadcasting is absolutely dead sexy...

Grab the Sears catalog and start pickin' out furniture. Here she comes.

Kimberly Chong (Milla)

After receiving a degree in Criminal Justice from CSU Sacramento, Kimberly Chong was bitten by the acting bug during a summer acting class that she took for fun. She realized that acting was what she wanted to do and jumped in, looking to act. When she's not working on her craft, she's spending time outdoors hiking or in the water. An avid animal lover, she has two black cats named Bubby and Poo.

Brenda Cepeda (Nell)

Katherine Fullenlove (Sara)
Owen Thomas (Preston)

Owen Thomas is a bay area native who got his start performing with the San Francisco Boys Chorus at the age of 6. After finishing school, and working as a musician for many years, Owen took a slight detour into graduate school, and then right back out after discovering voiceover work. He eventually began working full time as an actor, and can now be heard annoying commuters everywhere on the radio. Owen currently lives in his hometown of Berkeley, California.

Jason Fong (Drake)

Jason Michael Fong is a versatile actor, singer, voiceover artist, and model with experience in film, TV, theater, and musicals. He has appeared in numerous independent films, on stage at the Music Circus under the direction of Leland Ball, and in various commercials and print ads.

He appeared in the independent film The War Prayer directed by actor/director Michael Goorjian (Party of Five, Conversations with God) and starring Jeremy Sisto (Six Feet Under) and Thomas Dekker (Heroes).

A trained first tenor, Jason has also performed in numerous concerts and revues as a vocal soloist singing Pop, Oldies, Classical, and Broadway Showtunes.

Always up for a new, creative challenge, Jason has added writer, director, and producer to his list of titles with his first film, Bite Me - a short film about speed-dating. Jason stars as the lead character, Drake. Bite Me was accepted into the 9th Annual San Diego Asian Film Festival and continues to be submitted to other festivals. The film co-stars Brenda Cepeda, Kimberly Chong, Katherine Fullenlove, Owen Thomas, and the pop singer and songwriting sensation, Natalise (all the cool people above if you haven't already noticed).
